Course Overview

Automotive Quality Management System Standard or IATF 16949 along with applicable automotive customer-specific requirements defines the fundamental requirements for automotive production and relevant service parts organization. This standards aims to develop a quality management system that provides for continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain. This course helps attendants to review and understand the requirements of the standard.

     

Course Description

During this course requirements of IATF 16949 will be reviewed and discussed in seven modules.

Module 1: Quality Management Systems In this module, you will learn about the requirements for business alignment, interested parties, quality management scope and quality system processes.

Module 2: Leadership Leadership requirements are reviewed in the module. Requirements for customer focus, quality policy, organizational roles, responsibilities and authorities are stated at this module.

Module 3: Planning This module reviews IATF16949 tough requirements for risk analysis, preventive actions, contingency plans, quality objectives and plans in addition to planning of changes.

Module 4: Support Requirements for resources, competence, awareness, communication and documented information are taught at this module. Requirements for monitoring and measurement resources including calibration laboratory and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) are concentrated at this module.

Module 4: Operation This module covers the hearth of standard in operation. Standard has defined requirements for planning and control of operations, determination of product or service requirements, design and development, control of externally provided items, provision of production and service, release of products and service and control of nonconforming outputs. These requirements are reviewed at this module.

Module 5: Performance Evaluation At this module requirements for monitoring, measurement, analysis and evaluation, internal audit and management review are taught.

Module 6: Improvement The last module of this course includes reviewing of the requirements for nonconformity and corrective actions and continual improvements.
